Advocating for Better Maternal Outcomes
Welcome to the comprehensive resource center for all things Rural Doc Alan, a dedicated obstetrician committed to providing women with the knowledge they need to make informed healthcare decisions. Dr. Lindemann has witnessed firsthand the importance of patient-centered care, empowering women to actively participate in their pregnancy and delivery decisions.
Now retired, over his 40 years in practice, Dr. Lindemann delivered 6000 babies with no maternal mortalities, no eclampsia and no babies with cerebral palsy. He tells his story here of how he did this in a medical environment that really doesn’t provide much of the kind of information they need to make safe choices in pregnancy. In pregnancy, Dr. Lindemann says women can choose the kind of outcome they want 95 percent of the time. To make those decisions, women need to know what their choices are during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. You will find many of those choices explained on this website.
Dr. Lindemann recognizes the challenges women face in today’s healthcare landscape, where access to consistent, personalized care can be limited. Rural Doc Alan’s extensive resources aim to bridge this gap, providing readily accessible information that empowers women to make informed choices about their health
Dr. Lindemann has made it his mission to teach women and their families how to create the outcomes they want for their own health and safe pregnancy.
